Wagontown Responds to Second Alarm in Coatesville

At 08:52 hours Wagontown Fire Company was alerted to relocate to Station 41 (Coatesville) as they were on a working fire on Poplar St off Graham Ave.
Upon responding Engine 35 was re-directed to the scene to assist with the fire.  Upon arrival the crew was requested to go to the 2nd and 3rd floors of the fire building. Once there crews were advised to begine overhaul, the process to open up and expose any hidden fire.  Crews also found and extinguished areas of fire that were hidden behind the walls of the house.
Crews worked for over two hours to open up and remove debris from the house to prevent a re-kindle. Once the work was complete we were released by Asst. Chief Tracey of the CFD.
