Wagontown
receives Pa State Fire Grant

The
Wagontown fire company received notification of
a grant awarded from the State Office of the
Fire Commissioner. Each year the state awards
grants to fire companies and ambulance companies
for equipment, debt reduction or other worthy
projects. This year Wagontown received over
$22,000 for the use of debt reduction. As with
the previous grant the company survives on fund
drives and fund raisers we hold each year and
this provides funds that boost our ability to
provide the level of services we currently
provide. Again this is just a small part and we
continue to look forward to the communities
support with our fund drives and fund raisers.
