Wagontown Responds to Garage with Heavy Smoke Showing

Arrived on scene to find a 1 story detached 2 bay garage with heavy smoke showing and fire breaking through the roof on the north side.  Engine 34-1 arrived and laid a 5" supply line up the driveway and proceeded through the main door to attack the fire.  Fire was contained to the north wall with extension up into the roof assembly and items stored in the roof area.  Crews from Station 49 ventilated the roof while Crews from 76, 34, 35, and 44 opened up the ceiling and worked to attack the fire.  Overhaul was performed and 1 vehicle was pushed out of the fire building to prevent further damage.  Crews then dropped the entire ceiling and worked to extinguish all fire showing.  The county FM's responded and investigated the fire scene along with the West Brandywine Township FM.  Crews worked to Clean up and Mop up the scene.  Scene turned over to the homeowner and companies cleared.
