Wagontown completes Boaters Safety Course

Today members of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 5NR 4-9, presented a course on boaters safety. The course, America's Boating Course, meets the standards for the PA Fish and Boat Commission's requirements for boat operations. This course is a required course in our constant pursuit of training in the Water Rescue arena. This course, coupled with Phase I water rescue, is required for our Phase II training. The members of the United States Coast Guard were kind enough to give up a nice Saturday to put this course.  For many of our members, this was their first boater's safety course.  This course is also useful for anyone interested in recreational boating.
