Wagontown Responds to Coatesville for the
Building Fire

At around 20:50 Hrs. Wagontown Fire Company was
dispatched to relocate to Station 41
(Coatesville) who were at a building fire in the
300
Block of Valley Rd. At around 21:00 hours,
after just backing into station 41 the relocate
companies were brought into the scene for
manpower. Upon the arrival of Engine 35, which
was initially assigned to RIT company, Asst. 43
(Tracey) assigned the crew to the Second Floor.
Upon the crew reaching the second floor they
found fire traveling in the walls. Crews then
opened up a large portion of the second floor
exposing the hidden fire in the walls.
Wagontown crews worked with several of their
neighboring companies in
assisting Coatesville crews in extinguishing
this stubborn fire. Crews were on scene for over
two hours working this fire. Crews were then
released by Asst. 43 (Tracey) and returned to
clean the equipment used.
