Company runs
accident with Fire

Tonight just after 16:00 Hrs the company
was dispatched with Station 34 (Martins
Corner) and Medic 93 for an accident.
Prior to response and the PD was onscene
advising entrapment and fire. Companies
responded and was advised of the updated
information and that there were 4
patients. With that Chief 34 (Metzler)
added 3 additional BLS and ALS units.
Crews arrived and the crew from Rescue
35 was put to work extinguishing the car
fire as the PD got the victims out prior
to the FD arriving. Other members
arriving assisted with EMS prior to the
arrival of the EMS units. Sandy Hill
command (Chief 34) placed the fire under
control and requested a helicopter on
stand by which was released. Crews then
assisted with loading the patients into
the ambulances and all were transported
to a local trauma center for
treatment. Crews then cleaned up and
were released by command. |
