Early morning assist to 33 and a Chimney Fire

On Friday morning at 05:43 Hours the company was dispatched to the 500 Block of Icedale Rd for a reported house fire. Deputy 33 (Bailey) arrived onscene with light smoke on the first floor and soon found a working basement fire.

Wagontown units provided manpower and assisted with various fire ground duties until released by command just before 8 am.

While returning, Engine 35 came across a chimney fire in the 100 Block of Martins Corner Rd. Crews found the fire as they were returning from the previous house fire. Crews immediately went to work on cleaning the chimney and checking for extension. Crews from Ladder 41 assisted with various tasks on the fire grounds and the company cleared a little after 9 am.
