At 13:33 hours, the company along with Ambulance 144 responded to the 100 Block of Barons Hill Rd for the reported trash fire. On Arrival West Brandywine PD reported the subject had a controlled burn that was not permitted and needed to be extinguished. Crews went to work extending 300' of hose line into the rear of the property and began to extinguish the fire.

Crews worked in the heat of the day for over 1/2 an hour working to extinguish the fire and then mop up to ensure there would be no rekindles. Crews then wrapped up the hose, and cleared the scene almost an hour later.

Crews then refilled the engine on the way back to the station and then finished the clean up.
