Assist to Coatesville on an Apartment Fire

On Monday night at 19:28 hours the Company was alerted for an Engine to assist the Coatesville Fire Department in the 1100 Block of Francis Dr. for a building fire. Coatesville units arrived with smoke showing from a 3 story apartment building. Engine 35 went enroute and arrived and laid into Engine 43 who had the buildings Fire Department Connection.

With the water supply established crews then joined up with others to make quick work of the fire which was held in check by the sprinklers. Crews then assisted with the salvage of the apartments below the fire apartment.

The engine was then released by Command when the situation was under control and building management was onscene.

The company was in service for a little over an hour when we returned.
