Assist to Coatesville on a 2nd alarm on Coates St.

On Monday while doing a fire prevention tour, the company was dispatched at 10:24 hours to assist the Coatesville Fire Department in the 600 Block of Coates St. on a working house fire. City fire units arrived with smoke and fire showing and requested additional assistance.

Engine 35 made the response and arrived onscene and received orders to assist crews in the fire building, Crews went to the 2nd floor and then the 3rd floor doing fire attack. As additional crews arrived who relieved the 35 crews continuing work in both sides of the half a double.

Crews then after taking a break went back to work assisting with overhaul and eventually clean up of the fire scene with 35 units clearing after 1pm.
