Juniors Complete Firefighting basics

Today our Junior Firefighters completed their Junior Fire I class at the Chester County Public Safety Training center. This class provides them the needed knowledge to operate on an incident scene. The course a 16 hour program which provides the junior with a fundamental knowledge that allows them to do certain tasks on the incident scene which also allows them to learn and grow in the fire service. This program along with the juniors programs allow fire companies to continue to train new members to provide for the longevity of the fire company. This class along with their completion of Hazmat Awareness starts their fire service careers. Congratulations on your first steps in the fire service.
