While the company was having our First Amish Wedding Dinner, mother nature had her own ideas and decided to dump about 4.5 inches of snow during the evening. After having the fire alarm activate at the fire station due to all the cooking going on, we then handled a number of accidents due to the snow.

The First Call was at 18:50 hours for Kings Hwy and N. Sandy Hill Rd where a car had slid off the roadway into a tree, the second was for Ash Rd and Rt. 340 for another one that had slid on the slick roadways. Units responded and found no injuries and waited till the incident was cleared and returned.

No sooner getting back, the company and Ambulance 144 were once again dispatched at 19:28 hours for Cedar Knoll and Hibernia Rd for the accident. Onscene there we found a 2 vehicle accident due to the weather, this time 2 victims were transported and the company assisted at the scene. Again once the scene was cleared we returned to assist with the ongoing fundraiser.
