New year, New ideas and training

At the end of last year a training program had been revised and released by the PA State Fire Academy based around leadership and officer training. The course was designed to be tailored to the individual needs of fire companies and preparing officers for their roles within the fire service. This year the officers of the fire company took part in this training lead by State Instructor Ziegler. The course covers everything from Leadership, to Administration and then to tactical areas such as Pre-Planning and Fire ground tactics.

This class allowed us as officers to reconnect and learn from each other and progress into the New Year with a renewed sense of vigor. Also coupled with this training this past weekend members attended the Paul Butler seminar at the Public Safety Training Campus and will be attending the Rick Lasky program in a few weeks.

Training never stops and the forward progress we are making as a company.

Thank you to all who gave up time already this year to make us a better trained organization.
