On Friday, January 26, 2018 the Fire Company received official notification from the Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioner's Office that we have been awarded a grant to our organization totaling $15,000.00 through the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency.

The Wagontown Fire Company was awarded $15,000 for our Fire Grant will be used to purchase hose, fittings and other items we have been looking to replace or add to our current fleet. Some of the items will be used to increase our capabilities when the new tanker arrives as well.

This grant program is a great asset to all Fire and Ambulance companies throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and we would like to thank State Fire Commissioner Bruce Trego and his staff for their assistance in providing this program annually to our volunteers.
