Shed Fire In Wagontown

On Tuesday at 13:13 hours to company along with mutual aid were dispatched to the 300 Block of Dove Lane for the reported out building fire. Chief 35 (Ziegler) responded after dispatch and was advised a shed of some sort was on fire. FM28 (Peters) arrived confirming a small shed was on fire and almost on the ground, recommending holding the assignment to a scaled back response.

Engine 35 along with Ladder 41 and Engine 76 were arriving and the assignment was held to 35, 41, 76 and Engine 44-5 and the balance was returned. Crews worked to extinguish the small shed and overhaul the area. Fire was under control in 10 minutes and crews cleared the scene at an hour later.

FM100 (Weer) was advised of the incident and companies returned.
