Afternoon accident on the Bypass

At around 2 pm the company was alerted to assist the Westwood Fire Company on the Route 30 Bypass west of Rt. 82 for an accident. Ambulance 44-1 arrived and advised that they had one patient who needed ALS care, so Rescue 35 and Medic 93 along with Ambulance 144 were added.
Chief 35 arrived and established the Bypass Command and units proceeded to secure the hazards and assist EMS with Patient care. Ambulance 44-1 transported 2 to PMH while Ambulance 144 obtained a sign off.
Crews stood by until the accident was cleared right around 3 pm.
