This afternoon at 13:22 hours the company along with Ambulance 144 was dispatched to Cedar Knoll Rd east of Kaolin Rd for an accident. Chief 35 (Ziegler) and Ambulance 144 arrived to find a single vehicle accident in which a car struck a pole and then bounced off into a yard across the roadway.

EMS crews began patient care and the crew from Rescue 35 secured the scene and hazards and then assisted with traffic control until the fire police arrived onscene.

During patient care the EMS requested a medic from the Brandywine Hospital to meet them enroute with the patient. The patient was then taken to the trauma center for further care.

Fire and fire police cleared the incident scene about 14:15 hours with the vehicle being removed and the police had concluded their investigation.
