The early morning started with a dispatch to relocate to Station 46 while they were on an out building fire on Route 113 in East Caln, then the afternoon brought a smoke detector activation at the Fire Station in the Banquet hall which was quickly determined to be accidental.

Then at 19:20 hours a brush fire was alerted for Lafayette Road in West Brandywine, crews located the fire back off the road in the woods in the 200 Block. Crews went old school to reach the fire using bladder bags to extinguish the fire in the remote location.

Then as the storms moved in around 22:27 hours so did the calls, the first call was for a pole fire on Hibernia road in West Brandywine Township. Brush 35-3 and the Deputy stood by until PECO arrived about an hour later to turn the incident over to them.

While at the pole fire, the company was alerted for a second cal at 22:43 hours to assist Lancaster 49 (Whitehorse) on a barn fire in the 5900 Block of Old Philadelphia Pike. Engine 35 made the response and arrived onscene, once there they stood by for a few and then was sent to a second call at Old Philadelphia Pike and School Lane for a building struck by lightning. Crews went in service with crews from Lancaster 44 (Intercourse) to investigate the building. Once that incident was cleared the company returned at 23:40 Hours

Units: Engine 35, Brush 35-3, Brush 35-1
